MENTOR 8

MENTOR 8 is the largest of the MENTOR Series. Like all of the MENTOR’s, it features low loss paper/woodfibre drivers and the MENTOR Hybrid Tweeter Module. The newly developed drivers ensure that the listener will experience the subtlest musical details, even at low listening levels.

The curved front and rear sides of the cabinet will effectively reduce cabinet resonance and vibration for the highest possible sound quality. The lacquered sandwich baffle, which is glued to the main cabinet, will prevent vibration from reaching the main cabinet. Thereby the cabinet is even more inert to disturbing vibration from the drivers.

Essentially MENTOR 8 is a three-way bass reflex speaker with two 8" bass woofers a 6.5” midrange driver and DALI´s proprietary ribbon/soft dome hybrid tweeter module. In fact it is more a three-and-a half-way design, as the dome and the ribbon do not cover the same frequency range.
