IKON 6 MK2 - Colourful in every moment

The Czech hifi magazine Hi-fi Voice has made a great review of IKON 6 MK2 stating that these darlings play as if it just couldn't be otherwise.

The Czech reviewers are very pleased with the second generation of the IKON 6's as they hear a shift to greater ease and joyful reproduction in the sound performance.

The IKON 6 MK2's performs "Englishman in New York" by Sting with quite warm and nicely rounded lower notes. The speakers delievers a perfect listening space, and these speakers are among the most enjoyable speakers that they've heard. Linda Sharrocks vocals in "Besame Mucho" is like soft velvet and comes out with a peace and quiet. The relaxed sound is subtle, but stil magical as is draws ones attention to the reproduction of the music.

Despite the relaxed nature of the IKON 6 MK2, it is also possible to bring them to live through Verdi's "Requiem" - a impressively energetic and direct music choice. When listening to a very realistic saxophone like in the "Polo Mze Part 2", the IKON 6 MK2's bring out the livelyness in them, but still with a tight control.

Overall, the IKON 6 MK2's will always provide you with a pleasant and charming sound. The sound is exceptionally clean and silky smooth, and even with a common amplifier, it sounds good. However, are you searching for a speaker able to provide you with explosive and hard sound, this is not the optimal solution in spite of its energy performance.
