Volume Adjustment

Whether you use the speaker, the remote or the SOUND HUB, changes in volume are carried out at the very end of the signal chain.

Patented SMC

The woofers include patented SMC in the pole-piece, resulting in extremely agile, ultra low-loss performance with low distortion.

Wood Fiber Cones

The low-mass wood fiber cones are optimized for the built-in amplifier for a more linear response than a similar passive speaker design.

Class D Amplifier

Packing plenty of power, the Class D amplifier is based on patented state-of-the-art technology with a global feedback, self-oscillating design.

Merging traditional Hi-Fi with the convenience of wireless audio

As part of the wireless DALI EQUI ecosystem, the stand-mount CALLISTO 6 C represents the virtues of traditional Hi-Fi merged with the convenience of wireless audio. The CALLISTO 6 C connects wirelessly to the DALI SOUND HUB or SOUND HUB COMPACT via an extremely stable, high-resolution digital connection. Everything from the drivers to the built-in Class D power amplifier is developed in-house, which means we can optimise every single component to match each other perfectly.

MQA's award-winning technology

The wireless DALI EQUI ecosystem is MQA certified by MQA Ltd, thanks to the NPM-2i plug-in module. When installed in the DALI SOUND HUB, the NPM-2i's award-winning MQA compression technology captures 100% of the original recording in a file that's small enough to stream wirelessly via BluOS to the CALLISTO 6 C and other active speakers in the EQUI family. With lossless, MQA-certified audio, you can enjoy the finest musical rendition with the convenience of wireless technology.

WOOFERS

Taking audio to the next level

The CALLISTO 6 C features two 6½" woofers that take low loss and linearity to a whole new level. By controlling the entire signal path from source to driver, the DALI acoustics team were able to elevate audio performance beyond conventional speakers. Every element of the CALLISTO 6 C woofers is optimised to work in perfect balance with the built-in amplifier to create a soundstage that's detail rich, time coherent and effortlessly immersive.

PATENTED SMC

Reducing distortion with Soft Magnetic Compound

For the CALLISTO 6 C woofers, we've incorporated our signature Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) in the pole piece. When used in a speaker magnet motor system, SMC greatly reduces distortion due to mechanical loss. By using SMC, the extremely agile, ultra low loss woofers deliver a richly detailed, time coherent and extremely powerful audio signal.

HYBRID TWEETER

The master of wide dispersion

The CALLISTO 6 C features an optimised version of our trademark hybrid tweeter. Combining a soft dome tweeter with a high-performance ribbon tweeter, high frequencies are rendered with amazing detail and a wide dispersion pattern that outperforms all other tweeter technologies. Our hybrid tweeter design also outperforms in terms of frequency range, reaching down to 2 kHz and up to 30 kHz and beyond.

CABINET

Premium fit and finish

To guarantee the highest quality, we precision-cut CALLISTO 6 C cabinets at our Danish production facilities. As well as being extremely rigid, the 25 mm solid MDF cabinet also incorporates robust bracings that practically eliminate resonance. Strict in-house control of every aspect of production also achieves a level of fit and finish typically reserved for products well beyond The CALLISTO 6 C's price point.
