LOW LOSS - DALI SOUND DESIGN #01

From the placement of the bass ports and design of the crossover and cone, to the selection of materials for the suspension, voice-coil and magnet motor system, minimising losses is the fundamental building block of any DALI loudspeaker.

For example, by replacing a traditional iron pole-piece with one made from our patented SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound), we dramatically lower the hysteresis and eddy currents that cause mechanical distortion.


By minimising mechanical distortion and other losses, even the most delicate musical details are preserved, also at very low listening levels. For you, this means you will be able to enjoy music with ultimate transparency and a heightened sense of 'liveliness'.
