Eline and Thomas sing the lovely duet in which a disguised Guglielmo with charm and sweet words manages to seduce his friend Ferrando’s fiance, Dorabella.
At first, she remains faithful, but in a heartbeat, she is persuaded by the handsome stranger. Little does Guglielmo know that Ferrando manages to do the same to his own fiance. All this just because of a bet!
This little gem is perfectly suited for the two singers and the LiveStrings ensemble as part of the classical contribution to this compilation. Eline and Thomas both have very active careers as opera singers, mainly as part of The Danish National Opera ensemble. They also perform as soloists in classical works like the Bach passions, Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem with orchestras all over Denmark as well as starring in musicals, including Jesus Christ Superstar and Phantom of the Opera.
