Deadmau5 (Joel Zimmerman, born January 5, 1981 in Toronto, Canada) does not consider himself a DJ, since he rarely plays songs other than his own. His musical style is influenced by House, Trance and Techno. One of the key points here is that the sound production of most of his often extremely bassheavy rhythm tracks is much more delicate and well produced than is normal in this genre.

“Whispers (Remix)” is typical Deadmau5 with his usual high technical quality and sophisticated sound production. The phase manipulated effects deliver a rare, truly spectacular sound experience. Despite its two-channel origins, it is possible to locate specific sounds at positions well outside the plane of the two loudspeakers.
WARNING! This track contains so much energy in the extreme bottom end of the frequency range that it may cause the bass drivers to move considerably more than usual. Because even the best speakers have physical limitations, you should immediately turn down the volume to a more manageable level, if the sound becomes audibly distorted. And please don’t forget to take off your mouse head helmet after listening!
