The DALI SUB C-8 D renders a performance, which is true to the input signal. It is a subwoofer with its heart set on high fidelity, and it feels equally at home both in a surround setup destined for movies as well as in a compact stereo setup meant primarily for musical enjoyment. In other words, this subwoofer is versatile, and it is everything but a ‘boombox’.
Adhering to DALI’s low-loss sound design principle, the surround of the 8” down-firing woofer is built to allow long and linear excursion. Furthermore, an integrated 170 Watt RMS Class D amplifier enables the DALI SUB C-8 D to follow and render the required signal with an absolute minimum of bias. And by designing it for continuous power as well as for peak power, it is able to deliver 220 Watt peak power, which is very relevant when it comes to both movie and music signals.
The subwoofer will be available in two color options; Black Ash and White, allowing it to match most speaker designs and room decors.
