The French home cinema magazine, Les Années Laser, has tested the DALI SPEKTOR series (1, 2, 6 and VOKAL) and as a first impression, they noticed the quality of the material – especially for a speaker series in that price range: “The finish is quite proper, especially for material sold at this price”.
They tested the speaker series in a 5.1 surround setup as well as in a 7.1 setup. Both setups were tested with the Blu-ray science fiction movie Arrival by Denis Villeneuve, and the magazine was thrilled about how precise the dialogues are: “(...) offers an exact and full rendering of the voices, without excessive swelling in the medium-low”.
All in all, Les Années Laser was impressed with the SPEKTOR series and defines its sound as “global and soft” and even concludes that DALI’s “mission is accomplished”.
