The DALI 700 achieves these goals through the deployment of original DALI technology such as the Linear Directivity crossover to ensure linear frequency response even at extreme angles off-axis for the optimum speaker/room interface.
Linear impedance makes the DALI 700 an easy load for any amplifier. Research has shown that as impedance varies with frequency, amplifiers with low current capability tend to sound aggressive and edgy. The performance of high current amplifiers may also be affected adversely by fluctuating impedance. For these reasons, the crossover in the DALI 700 is optimized for an even frequency independent impedance curve which allows any amplifier to perform at its best.
