Behind the pretty exterior, one finds a custom-designed 10” woofer, powered by a 120 Watt amplifier with adjustable volume, crossover frequency and phase.
The woofer resides in a steel basket with extra long 145 mm magnet structure. The result is deep, accurate bass that convinces in stereo as well as surround systems. The integrated high-pass filter protects the front speakers from the lowest frequencies in systems where Piano Forte feeds the front speakers. Forte’s own woofer is protected by a subsonic filter.
The Piano Forte is developed, designed, hand-built, assembled and individually tested at the DALI factory in Denmark.
