OBERON C FEATURES
EASY TO POSITION
The driver materials, crossover design and geometry applied in the OBERON C series has been selected to achieve a wide dispersion pattern. This ensures a well-integrated sound, even when listening at a significant off-axis angle. An added benefit is seriously reduced harmonic distortion and diffractions causing frequency distortion. This is why all DALI speakers are not designed to be toed-in.
LOW LATENCY
The SOUND HUB COMPACT transmits to OBERON C speakers using a proprietary 30 bit wireless protocol derived from the acclaimed DALI SOUND HUB. Audio transmission latency from input to speaker is typically less than 15 mS, and inter-speaker timing is accurate to the single sample period of the broadcast audio data.
ACTIVE SPEAKER
The OBERON C power amplification comprises two 50 Watt peak, closed-loop Class-D power amplifiers chosen specifically for their sound quality and dynamic ability. One amplifier powers the high frequency driver, one powers the bass/mid driver (or twin drivers in the case of the OBERON 7 C).
PATENTED SMC
The iron pole piece of the OBERON C woofer magnet is crowned by the DALI patented SMC disk - minimizing the negative effects of the iron. The use of the SMC disk greatly reduces mechanical distortion, which lowers third order distortion. This allows for a longer listening pleasure, a relaxed midrange and a surprising amount of detail for its price class.
Genuine Hi-Fi
The wireless OBERON C series demonstrates that the theoretical advantages of active speakers can be truly realised, and plainly heard, and proves that genuine Hi-Fi speakers can be easily integrated in contemporary lifestyle needs and media systems. And the SOUND HUB COMPACT demonstrates that versatility of use in the modern world of both streamed and conventional audio need not mean any compromise of functionality or sound quality.
Introducing OBERON C
The OBERON C series comprises three active two-way speakers - derived from the renowned passive OBERON series - while utilising the wireless technology developed for the CALLISTO C series. The range introduces the compact OBERON 1 C, the floor standing OBERON 7 C, and the low profile OBERON ON-WALL C. This new active series is ideally suited for use with the also-new wireless preamplifier: the SOUND HUB COMPACT. However, at the same time it is compatible with the existing SOUND HUB.

DALI OBERON 7 C
The subtle, floor standing DALI OBERON 7 C will suit more ambitious music lovers and audiophiles. OBERON 7 C is intended for more expansive homes where music has space to breathe - and impresses with its ability to render any style of music naturally and lifelike. The speaker is part of DALI's wireless Hi-Fi eco system.
DALI OBERON 1 C
Music lovers and audiophiles who prefer the style and sound of stand-mounted speakers will be drawn towards the OBERON 1 C. The OBERON 1 C is intended for smaller rooms where space is a precious commodity and volume levels are relatively modest. The compact DALI OBERON 1 C is part of DALI's wireless Hi-Fi eco system.
DALI OBERON ON-WALL C
The wall-mounted OBERON ON-WALL C is intended to find a role in any size room that includes a TV with space for speakers on both sides. However, the OBERON ON-WALL C is equally adept at reproducing all audio formats and is part of DALI's wireless Hi-Fi eco system.
