DALI RUBICON LCR

The wall-mounted RUBICON LCR is simply born to stand out in both sound performance and design with the hybrid tweeter module and the wood fibre low-loss driver. The compact RUBICON LCR delivers a wide dynamic range, a coherent sound with lots of details all together with a bass response that’s unrivalled in its class. The rotatable hybrid tweeter module makes it possible to use the RUBICON LCR as either the left or right channel, or as a centre speaker. The 6½ inch woofer uses the ingeniously designed bass port to reach maximum bass depth. With the RUBICON LCR, we promise you a sound performance that will dazzle you and leave you with goose bumps.

Hibrid magassugárzó modul

A hibrid magassugárzó modul a DALI cég védjegye, és a RUBICON széria összetevője, melyek Dániában készülnek. A hibrid magassugárzó tulajdonsága, hogy ötvözi a dóm magassugárzó és a szalagos magassugárzót, ezáltal lenyűgöző magas frekvenciákat képes létrehozni.

DALI SMC mágnes rendszer

Low-loss technológia
A RUBICON sorozatban használt tölcsér az EPICON technológiájából merít és könnyű, merev és véletlenszerűen egyenletlen szerkezete van. Ez csökkenti a motor központi részének összetettségét, biztosítja az egyenletes mozgást, nagymértékben csökkenti a felületi rezonancia fellépésének lehetőségét és rendkívül alacsony torzítást hoz létre a RUBICON sorozatban. A puha low-loss gumi perem kizárólag a RUBICON sorozat számára lett kialakítva és testreszabva, a komponensek pedig egy alumínium házban találhatóak, amelyet a tölcsér és a mágnes rendszer körüli maximális légáramlás céljából terveztünk.

Magas sugárzók
A RUBICON sorozatban a magas frekvenciák lenyűgöző megszólaltatásához a DALI a külön működő lágy szövet magas sugárzóiból építkező hibrid magas sugárzó konfigurációt használja. A RUBICON sorozatban használt hangtekercset úgy terveztük, hogy nagyon könnyű és rugalmas legyen a szélesebb frekvencia sávszélesség elérése érdekében. Ezt a könnyebb hangtekercset egy erőteljes ferrit mágnes belsejébe helyeztük, amely irányítja annak mozgását. SMC

With the introduction of the SMC based "Linear Drive System", we've broken new ground in the loudspeaker industry. Utilizing the technologies behind the SMC in the RUBICON LCR, we aim to create an extremely low distortion and maximize the level of details, even at low volume. With the drivers manufactured in-house at our Danish factory, and featuring the latest in magnet motor technology, the RUBICON LCR is ready to set new standards for audio quality for Hi-Fi lovers around the world.

The RUBICON LCR draws upon the heritage from the SMC based ‘Linear Drive System, which was introduced with the EPICON series. With the use of the technology from the SMC drivers, we have taken a step closer to remove a very large part of the unwanted distortion. The bass drivers are optimized for long excursion, and the midrange driver for a large useful frequency range insuring that the roll-off is handled in the crossover and not in the driver. All this ensures that the benefit from SMC can be enjoyed by even more Hi-Fi lovers around the world.

HYBRID TWEETER

In the RUBICON LCR, DALI makes use of both the soft dome tweeter working alone, and the hybrid tweeter configuration an amazing rendering of the high frequencies. The voice coil used in the RUBICON LCR is designed to be very light and agile in order to achieve a broader bandwidth. This lighter voice coil is placed inside a powerful ferrite magnet that keeps a tight control of its movements.

The ribbon tweeter is the master of wide dispersion and combining it with the soft dome, the tweeter module starts working as low as 2.5 KHz. This extreme bandwidth combined with the ultra wide dispersion is an important part of the DALI sound philosophy.

WOOFER

The cone used in the RUBICON LCR draws upon the heritage from the EPICON technologies, and has a light, rigid and randomly uneven structure. This lower the complexity of the central part of the motor, ensures even piston like movements, reduces the possibility of surface resonance greatly and creates an extremely low distortion within the RUBICON LCR.

The soft low-loss rubber surround is designed and bespoke specifically for the RUBICON LCR, and all of the components are situated in an aluminum chassis designed for maximum airflow around the cone and magnet system.

CABINET

Featuring the same hybrid tweeter and wood-fibre, low-loss driver as our floorstanding RUBICON range, the LCR also boasts an ingenious bass port configuration built into the back panel that uses the wall it is mounted on to extend its acoustic properties and deliver such unrivalled bass response that there’s no need to add a subwoofer to your setup.

A real work of audio art to hang on your wall, the RUBICON LCR is available in High-Gloss White, High-Gloss Black, Rosso and Walnut finishes. It also comes with rubber feet and a handy polishing cloth for those who can’t help but get hands-on.
