SoundStage! Ultra
The DALI EPIKORE 11 is a unique loudspeaker. Not only is it big, heavy and expensive. Very expensive. But it's also damn beautiful. And it sounds just as damn good. A couple of these are much easier to place in the room than their bigger brother KORE, and they can be placed in a smaller room. They are also far less demanding on the electronics, although they deserve the best. Only then can you hear what the EPIKORE 11 is really capable of.
Read full review (DK)An authentically performing speaker with outstanding sound qualities. Excellently crafted and, at any volume, a revelation for any type of music. High price, but almost a bargain in its category. KLANG-NIVEAU: 100%!
Read full reviewThe density of detail is massive and yet there are no sharp edges, it makes an awful lot of speakers sound slightly coarse or as if they are having to try too hard. The perceived effect is that distortion is lower than normal, even for a speaker at this price.
Read full reviewWhat this all boils down to is a speaker that can do it all. Slamming rock—check. Small-combo jazz—check. Avant-garde string ensembles—check. High volumes? Got it covered. Low-level intimate introspection? That’s sorted, too.
