In 1915, Danish engineer Peter Laurits Jensen helped create what would become one of the defining inventions of the modern age: the loudspeaker.

About Peter Laurits Jensen
Peter Laurits Jensen (1886–1961) was a Danish engineer and co-inventor of the first practical loudspeaker. In 1915, together with Edwin Pridham, he developed the Magnavox ("great voice"), a breakthrough that helped shape modern sound reproduction and laid the foundation for the loudspeaker as we know it today.
